A Review Of Party Mountain Ski Resort
[reposted from Yelp]
Party Mountain is a ski resort known for its extreme competitions and killer slopes.
The service, however, is extremely questionable, and the staff mostly ignores customers and focuses on the competing skiers & their friends.
Every single time I ordered a beer, the staff threw an unopened can at me instead of serving me properly.
Because of the event going on, the slopes were closed to guests for most of the weekend, which was extremely frustrating because we came here to ski!
Everyone at the resort kept calling the competition "school," but I didn't see any teachers or students.
It was honestly hard to tell who was even in charge. Or who was staff and who wasn't.
The dress code was completely nonexistent, and there was a lot of bare skin all over the property. A LOT.
It’s worth noting that the jalapeño poppers in the lounge were world-class.
Everything was announced, constantly, on the PA system. I've never witnessed anything like it.
Every detail of the competition, every happening inside the lodge, even the sudden sale of the resort while we were there — all of it was announced loudly and publicly.
The service was terrible, the slopes were closed, and the atmosphere was strange.
Overall, I would give Party Mountain 3 out of 5 stars.
